Vichigasta, Famatina Valley
La Rioja, Argentina

Agrovid is nestled in the most important wine region of La Rioja, located in the Famatina Valleys to the west of the Province, between the Velazco massif and the Famatina snowfall.

The region of the Valleys of Famatina stands out for the unique organoleptic characteristics of its wines, this due to the optimal conditions that the valleys offer for the cultivation of the vine, low ambient humidity, high luminosity and an average thermal amplitude, in summer, that goes from 36º C during the day and descends to 17º C at night. Cold winters with a temperature of up to -7º C. All this favored by the south-north orientation of the mountain ranges that prevents the first and last sun rays from directly affecting the vines.

These characteristics, optimal for the development of the vine, allow to achieve wines of intense fruity aroma and great complexity.

Low humidity and low rainfall make viticulture in the Province of La Rioja, Argentina, ranked among the healthiest in the world.
